Our Make-A-Wish Cruise was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! We all had a really great time and we got some good souvineers but the best souvineer was the joy on Amanda's face of getting to do somethings we wouldn't normally get to do. She did swim w/ the dolphins and we saw dolphins swimming with our boat when we pulled out of Galveston Bay. Amanda couldn't swim in the pools on the ship but then again we didn't do much swimming..the water was a bit too cold for me and salty!!! YUCK!!! Thomas and Krystal had fun in the arcade. And the foood....Oh my God! It was very good!!! I was never hungry between meals..didn't have time to be hungry. We were constantly doing something or exploring the ship. I did get to have a massage when they had a special called Ladies Day for $99.00. I also bought some nice jewelry and we alll got some really nice shirts. I have a souvineers from all our ports of call. And took lots of pics!!!! I will have to post them!!
Addison is getting bigger and more alert. She is trying to crawl. If she is on her back she will flip over to her belly and try to push up. She wants to be facing front when she isn't being fed so she can see what is going on. Miss Mia is what I call my Hurricane..she comes over and she is instantly into everything and makes a mess of everything!!! She moves pretty fast for Grandma sometimes but she is learning that when Grandma says no, I mean no, though fortunately Daddy is usually there to help me out.
Last night Krystal and I watched the MTV movie awards show and saw a trailer for the second book New Moon, and it was AWESOME!!!!! I can't wait for November. But first I have to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and next year is the first part of the Deathly Hallows and hopefully next summer part 3 of Twilight: Eclipse. January 30 Addison DianeOn 1/21/09 I became a grandma again to another beautiful girl. Addison Diane Morrison was born @ 5:49am, weighing in at 8lbs., 11oz., 21 in. She is healthy and beautiful!!!! I got to visit with her and her tired Mama for about 30 min before Tim had to go to work. Hopefully soon I will have more pictures of Addison to share. I do know that Mia wants to help with her new sister. July 26 The Dark KnightI treated myself to the movies yesterday and went to see The Dark Knight. It was really good. I know they shot this movie using I-Max Cameras and it was very impressive and the stunts were very goood! If I didn't know Heath Ledger was playin' The Joker I would never of known it was him!!! The character was very intense!! I still can't that laugh of his out of my head!! Not for young kids under 9 but worth paying $5.50 I payed to see it!!! May 30 Another babyI just found out that I'm to be a grandmother again!!!!!!! My daughter-in-law is about a month along. Mia is gonna be a big sister!!! They wanted her to be about this age when they planned another one. I'm very happy for them!!!! May 12 The day after Mother's DayWell here it is the day after Mother's Day. It was also Tim's bday. He got off at 5pm and then we went to Bingo; he got to play for free and the cards were a $1 a card because of Mother's Day. The very last game of the second session I was set for I24,G50,N41, and B6 and G50 came up and I got to BINGO!! $300.00!!! Split it with hubby and after taxes it was $285 and we gave a $20.00 tip. Now I have some money to get Krystal's bday cake for her bday which is Sunday.
My kids made me breakfast in bed and Thomas made me a cute tea candle holder and a cute necklace out of string, suncather he painted and beads. I love it! And my youngest daughter,Krystal, made the breakfast and a sign hanging from the ceiling that said Happy Mother's Day and a sign for the computer. I know this may sound bad but Tim got me a new can opener because I hated the old one!!! It was also a late anniversary gift. Our 16th anniversary was Friday. And my daughter made diner too. My oldest daughter,Amanda made me a pot holder. It is cute!! April 27 Patrick and Jennifer's weddingWell it is done!!!!!! Patrick and his fiance, Jennifer, finally married!!! Last night the ceremony started @ 7pm our time. After many postponements and shuffling and dropping bridesmaids and ringbearers and bestmen and catter's, it finally happened!!! And it was a BEAUTIFUL wedding. My son was sooo handsome in his tux and his bride was absolutely breathtaking in her dress and my granddaughter, even though she was sick, was beautiful little girl in her dress and at the reception, she was the center of attention. I only danced once with my handsome hubby to Alan Jackson's :"Remember When" and believe it or not, no one got a picture of us!!! I left the camera with my daughter and she didn't take a picture of us!!! I will be uploading pictures soon of the wedding but it is done and over with and today I am exhausted!!!! Now in 10-15 yrs I will be doing this for my daughter and probably in 15-20yrs, for my other son!!! I am getting tooo old for this stuff!!!!  February 03 NY Jets are Superbowl Winners!The New York Jets are Super Bowl XL11 winners!!!!! YES!!!! Since my Boys couldn't make the Bowl, I was for the Jets. I didn't want the Patriots to win! (no offence to my New England friends who are Pats fans) Some of the music I like..it varies as you can see
